Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of AbbracciamiAdottami. AbbracciamiAdottami will not accept any gift unless it can be used or spent consistently with the purpose and mission of AbbracciamiAdottami.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or for life, will be accepted if under any reasonable circumstances the donation would jeopardize the financial security of the donor.

AbbracciamiAdottami will refrain from advising on the tax or other treatment of donations and will encourage donors to seek professional advice for assistance in the donation process.

AbbracciamiAdottami will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of AbbracciamiAdottami.

Certain other gifts, real estate, personal property, gifts-in-kind, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some way, must be reviewed before acceptance because of the special obligations raised or the liabilities they may entail for AbbracciamiAdottami.

AbbracciamiAdottami will provide donors who meet the tax requirements with a statement of receipt for goods received by the entity as a gift. However, with the exception of cash gifts and publicly traded securities, no value will be placed on any receipt or other form of justification for a gift received by AbbracciamiAdottami.

AbbracciamiAdottami will respect the donor's intentions regarding restricted purpose gifts and those related to a desire to remain anonymous. Regarding anonymous gifts, AbbracciamiAdottami will limit information about the donor to only those staff members who have a need to know.

AbbracciamiAdottami will not compensate, through commissions, fees, or other means, any third party for referring a gift or donor to AbbracciamiAdottami.
